I believe we want political leaders willing to take a stand on the tough issues facing our state. It is important to me that you know where I stand on the issues important to you. PRO-LIFE – will support legislative actions to protect the rights of the unborn

PRO-GUN – ardent supporter of the Second Amendment and member of the NRA

PRO-FAMILY – supports the statewide ban on gay marriage and supports the proposed marriage amendment to the U.S. Constitution

PRO-BORDER SECURITY – supports legislation to secure our borders first, and then firmly address the many other issues related to illegal aliens

PRO-TAX CUTS – supports continued reduction of the state income tax, elimination of the death tax, and reduction or elimination of fees

PRO-LIMITED GOVERNMENT – supports efficiency in government spending, and limits to the overall growth of the state budget; size and scope

PRO-EDUCATION – supports local control of education, streamlining of administrative costs, directing as much revenue as possible to the classroom, and is not supportive of the radical education unions’ (OEA, NEA) agendas

PRO-SAFE HIGHWAYS & BRIDGES – will support legislation requiring that all road user fees be spent on maintenance of roads and bridges, and not transferred to the general revenue fund and spent for other purposes

PRO-AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE – will support legislation reducing healthcare costs statewide and creating additional access to healthcare providers in all areas of the state

PRO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – will support legislative initiatives to attract new business and industry creating additional jobs for our state

PRO-WORKERS COMP REFORM – supports continued legislative reforms to reduce the soaring cost of workers comp premiums to business employers

PRO-TORT REFORM – supports continued legislative efforts to eliminate frivolous lawsuits, limiting damage awards, and limiting the scope of liability lawsuits

PRO-PROPERTY RIGHT’S PROTECTION – supports legislation to prevent eminent domain abuses such as the recent Supreme Court case Kelo v. New London
